Stolen Heart: Epilogue

Epilogue:

After a few hours I sat up…
Hana's eyes were swollen from crying so hard….
Her voice was cracked so I advised her not to talk…
I didn't die… I went to sleep. I looked at the scars and wounds on my arms.
There, there was a new mark, on my chest; it was in a shape of a heart.
I sat up slowly and wrapped my arms around Hana.

"You and your endless promises…" I kissed her forehead.
She giggled….
I sat up and picked her up.
"Let's get out of here…"  I said as I carried her to the nearest hidden boat.

As we arrived to the nearest town we received stares and glances… But I kept walking, holding Hana's hand. I entered a bank.

"A check for Tenshi Akuma" I smiled…
"Ah…" Hana held back.
"Hmm, here you are Mr. Akuma" The Banker eyed me…
"Hunting trip…?" The Banker asked.
"Hehe more or less…" I smiled and carried Hana outside…

Then I went to the nearest realtor.
I handed him a check and he glanced at me in fright.
I smiled as he handed me the keys…

"Takeo… where are we going…?" Hana asked while she followed me out..
"Home…" I smiled to myself…

I heard her footsteps stop… and I heard her mumble "Home…"
We arrived at a Victorian fashioned 2 story house…
The gates opened themselves as I walked in.
I could tell Hana was taking it all in.
Her admiring comments filled the air…

I opened the door for Hana….
"Welcome home…" I gestured inside.

What welcomed her in were the fireplace and the matching furniture…

"WOW!" Hana smiled.
"Go upstairs and take a shower…. Your room is on the right side second door and the bathroom is beside it." I told her…
"Hmm..? Okay," She followed my directions…

After a few days of teacher her proper manners she got the hanged of it…
She'd argue back at times but to me it was amusing.
Just the other day she was admiring the children out at the park…

"What do you think of…?" She stopped.
"Yea…" I hinted for her to go on…..
"Having our own child…. Like adopting one…?" She looked up at me slightly fearful.
"I'd think that would be nice…" I smiled…
"Really?" She grinned…. This made her happy… And when she smiles… It means the world to me. Knowing I'm keeping her happy…
"Yea… Do you want to adopt…?" I asked.
She nodded…
I stood up and took her hand…

"Before we do that…" I pushed the hair out of her face and leaned closer to her…
"We can't have you with scars… can we…?" I smiled and kissed her softly…
Her face flushed in red and the warmth of her body increased…
"Mhmm…" It was muffled but I knew what she said…
My eyes glowed blue and it send a light through Hana's body…
Then her scars vanished and my markings flashed…
I stood up and smiled.

"…. Are my scar bad…?" She assumed.
I laughed a little bit… "No they aren't,"
"Then why-" I cut her off.
"You're beautiful to me no matter what… We just don't want anyone going between our private lives…" I smiled.

At the orphanage we went to the infant section…
I had to sweet my talk in though because the ladies were suspicious of how young we were…
After all I'm just 16 and Hana is 15….

"Her…" Hana pointed at a little baby with a scar over her eye…
I nodded and the ladies handed me paper work while Hana carried the child…
"Name…" I asked…
"Hina… Hina Kimoura," She smiled at the girl.
I nodded.

"Cute isn't she…?" The ladies said while they looked at Hana and the Hina.
I glanced over…
"Yea…" They are… I smiled…

After that was all over Hana and I took turns carrying Hina…
In my hands was a fragile soul…
Still innocent.
This little child….
Is my daughter…
Being held in my hands…
Protected from harm…

Beside me is Hana…
The person I love with all my heart.
The two most valuable things in my life where right here…

I kissed Hina's forehead.

"I'll do my best to protect both of you…" I smiled.

And as I held Hina… She giggled…
